Rotax has released a new radiator design with an adjustable cooling surface.
Advantages:

Adjustable cooling area will minimize the need to tape the radiator at cold ambient temperatures.

Fully opened ap can reduce coolant temperature up to 3-degrees C (Compared to current radiator) at high ambient temperature.

Improved fixation of the radiator to the engine to increase durability of the radiator.

The force for the adjustment of the flap can be set individually utilizing 2 Allen-screws and locking nuts.

Quicker engine warm-up with closed flap (compared to actual radiator)
Note: Take care not to close the flap completely (keep a finger distance between flap and radiator) otherwise it is difficult to re-open the flap.
