Shockwave Axle Key (Size C)
Made from metric key stock and CNC machined for accuracy, this key is 60mm long by 8mm wide with 6mm diameter pegs, with 30mm spacing between pegs. Fits all 25mm, 30mm, and 40mm Shockwave axles. This key fits in 8mm wide keyways. All 40mm components use 8mm wide keys, while some 25mm and 30mm components use 6mm wide keys and some use 8mm wide. Also available for 25mm and 30mm Shockwave axles is Pegged Key (size B), which is 6mm wide to fit components with 6mm wide keyways. All Shockwave hubs, regardless of size, use 8mm wide keys
Keys are now offered in four different heights for better fit on your chassis and components of choice. The regular keys (0.130" tall) are perfect for all Shockwave components as well as most other brands. The short (0.115") keys fit well with Freeline brand components (including Birel and others); the tall (0.145") keys are excellent for other brands with deep keyways; and the extra tall (0.155”) keys work well with TonyKart and other brands with very deep keyways.
