Safely and easily drill bolts for safety wire with the MTE SAFTBLOK. Select between Metric & American thread.
Metric: 6x1.0, 8x1.0, 8x1.25, 10x1.25, 10x1.5mm
American: 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 National Fine and National Coarse.
PRO-Tip: Use a drill press with the MTE jig in a small vise, the jig doesn't need to be secured to the press. Use an allen wrench to keep bolt from spinning in jig. Add 1-drop cutting fluid to hole in jig, use light steady pressure on press. Apply pressure and release to allow fluid to seep in hole. Half way through, add 1-drop of fluid and continue though. As it gets close to pushing through, continue with steady pressure straight through or else bit will catch and snap. Do this properly and drill 30+ Grade_8.8 bolts with one drill bit. Without a drill press, expect to break many drill bits.
